Director of Finance & Operations

Omniscient Imaging Inc. is developing transformative, novel imaging devices that will change the way endoscopy is practiced.  We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual with Accountancy and Financial Analysis experience to manage financial and other operations, and work with a growing team of engineers, consultants, and physicians. Experience in working for engineering or medical device companies is required. The position requires a presence in Tucson, Arizona.

Responsibilities will include:  

·       Track purchases, issue purchase orders, coordinate payments, keep records of shipments, deliveries, payments, expenses, and budget

·       Financial analysis and projections

·       Communicate with vendors, contractors, and consultants regarding payments

·       Manage payroll, attendance, absences, timesheets

·       Employee onboarding and offboarding

·       Oversee income and expense accounts and prepare regular financial reports 

·       Prepare market surveys, financial analyses, interact with investors

·       Assist with company operations in compliance with company policies

·       Oversee day-to-day operations

·       Understanding of engineering operations

·       Embody company values; and  

·       Other assignments as needed 

Required qualifications:  

·       MBA from an accredited university

·       Expertise with QuickBooks and accounting practices 

·       Financial analysis and projections of future expenses

·       Income tax filing for small companies

·       Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel

·       Experience at small companies, including engineering/ medical device industry

·       Experience in managing staff and personnel matters

·       Knowledge and experience of engineering operations  

·       Outstanding work ethic, organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to work independently and within a growing team 

·       A self-driven, pro-active individual who plans ahead
